Welcome back, friends, clients, and curious movers—the Impact Your Fitness podcast just dropped its first episode of season two, and this year, it feels less like a sequel and more like a brand new chapter.
If you’re new here, I’m Jennifer Schwartz, and I host this podcast right from our with Bowie, of course, my companion canine co-host). This isn’t just another fitness podcast; it’s a space created for our clients and anyone hungry for freedom in their movement. We’re here to answer your real questions, break down pain-free living, and help you invest in a body that can handle everything life throws at it—without a detour to the orthopedic surgeon’s office.
Season two isn’t just about picking up where we left off. Think of it as a reset. We’re diving into our “new age muscle philosophy”—a completely different way of looking at fitness and recovery, through the lens of bioelectricity and neuromuscular strength. In plain English? We believe the future of sports medicine and self-care lies in understanding (and optimizing) how your nervous system, muscles, and even your lymphatic system work together.
This first episode is a little lighter and more personal—a preview of what’s coming and an honest update on what’s been happening at the studio. Spoiler: it’s been a year of change, grit, and growth. After a 4 season hiatus, we’re back with new technology (hello, Flowpresso—compression, pressure, and infrared heat for next-level recovery), two new powerhouse staff members (Melissa and Cassandra, both bringing fresh energy and dog mom cred), new Pilates equipment (meet the mighty stability chair), and an integrative nutrition program led by the brilliant Stacey.
We’re also rolling out our self-serve strength training program, built on data analytics and designed to help you actually track your progress, build balanced strength, and avoid burnout. This is all about practical tools and real results—because moving with freedom shouldn’t be reserved for the lucky few.
Throughout season two, expect deep dives into topics like bioelectricity, the lymphatic system, neuroplasticity, and minerals that matter. You’ll get updates on my own healing journey, answers to your best questions, and a ton of actionable advice—delivered with the same honesty that’s gotten us this far.
If you’re in the Alexandria, VA area, consider this your open invite to visit our studio. And if you’re just tuning in from afar, know that we’re grateful for your trust, your curiosity, and every five-star review and question you send our way.
Season two is about moving with intention, healing smarter, and building a community that elevates what fitness can be. We’re so glad you’re here. Let’s get moving—together.
